Magic Progression

Use this route on a normal completion file, not on Anti-Magic Master. Magic progress comes from finishing correct rows, so the fastest way to level magic is still clean shelf work.

Achievement Targets

Achievement	Requirement	Route note
Novice Mage	Unlock your first major magic ability.	Finish early rows cleanly, then buy the first useful major spell for your route.
Sage of the Library	Unlock all major magic abilities.	Spread unlocks across all major abilities instead of maxing one spell first.
The Archmage	Max out all major magic levels.	Keep spending into every major-magic branch during the normal completion route.

Practical Unlock Order

1	Shelf Guide	Best learning tool when a title could fit more than one section.
2	Assemble	Turns a known top book into a faster same-title row route.
3	Sort	Prevents wrong volume order after you are carrying larger stacks.
4	Insight	Good for scattered matching titles when you are cleaning an incomplete row.
5	Auto-Shelving	Useful only when you already know the shelf you are targeting.

Route Rules

Finish full same-title rows instead of sprinkling books across the map; completed rows are what keep magic progress moving.
Unlock chest upgrades separately through Keys and Unlocks; those are minor upgrades and are still required for Life Hack Wizard.
For The Archmage, do not wait until the final cleanup to start leveling a neglected major spell.
If you are doing Anti-Magic Master, ignore this page and use manual lookups instead.
Do not spend points into major magic on an Anti-Magic Master attempt; community reports say buying a major spell can fail the achievement even if it is never cast.

Maxing Checklist

Check every major spell page before finishing the run: Sort, Assemble, Insight, Shelf Guide, and Auto-Shelving.
If The Archmage has not popped, finish more correct rows and spend the next points into the lowest-level major spell.
Do not switch to Anti-Magic Master routing until the major-magic achievements are done.
